Hello. I am a doctoral candidate in Education, in the Culture, Institutions, and Society track, at Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. I study nonprofit organizations, hiring policies, and evaluation. My research has appeared in The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Education.

I am a 2020 recipient of the AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship in Education Research. I am also a Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellow.

My dissertation examines sorting processes organizations use to hire new talent. Methodologically, I study these topics using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including organizational ethnography and text analysis.

I received my MA in Education Policy from Harvard University and a BA in English from the University of New Orleans.
